Fixed the internal pages!
No one told me all the archives and internal pages were messed up...
Now they aren't! I fixed 'em.

I made the template wider to accommodate the new ABC LOST widget.
It's got exclusive clips, a countdown clock and other cool stuff.
I added it just for YOU. Oh, it's over there on the right nav.
Look over on the right nav ----->
I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

In honor of LOST returning to ABC on January 31st, we're having a contest and it's a doozy!
You can enter to win starting next week and here's what you can win...
The Grand Prize:
• a 42-inch 1080p Panasonic plasma television
• a Panasonic Blue-Ray disc player
• LOST Season 3 Blu-Ray disc box set!
Runner up prizes, too:
• LOST Season 3 DVD disc box sets!
(Rest assured I will not be responsible for sending these prizes out... so they should be delivered in a timely manner, if you win!)
The contest starts next week. Rules and details to come.
Wow, that was a long wait.
In the next few days we will be updating the site and gearing up to January 31, 2008!
All the regular bloggers will be back... as well as a few new faces. Podcasts will be back, too.
We should have some exciting announcements in the next few days, so get ready.
I was trying to cut back on the ridiculous amount of junk comments we receive, so I tured on the spam filter.
It looks like it has weeded out everyone.
I've turn it down a notch... so if you have recently commented, try again.
Sorry bout that!
Has anyone found the re-cap show promised by ABC?
I see two re-cap shows available on their site, but they look old.
OK, no more ARG stuff.
Just the LOST show and a slightly modified blog.
I don't know what color that nav should be over there >
Tell me.
One more day to go... ABC has yet to post the "Survivor Guide," I will let you know when they do.
We're either sick or trapped by ice storms. February can't get here fast enough!
Did you see that the producers are trying to get a set finishing date?
I personally like this idea. I think if the writers are working toward an ultimate goal, the puzzle pieces will make more sense. Things in the show will be more significant.
Whacha think?
Happy New Year!
I'm back from a much needed vacation.
Resolution #1: Must remember to send prizes... and boats!
I know, I know, I'm bad.
I will be sending out prize packs soon! I will alert you when I do.
IMDB.com is showing that Walt is back for episode #3?
Weirdness. They've been wrong in the past.
BTW, prize winners, I won't be able to ship prizes until the end of the month, so be patient!!
We almost had enough boat comments. 34 to be exact.
Thats 16 less than needed.
So, let's see, the 16th person to post was Todd Sanders.
Todd said "give it to Alison" (S).
Todd's unselfish behavior is very "LOST-like" dramatic and impressive.
• So Alison S gets the boat and Todd Sanders gets... a boat too (yeah, I had two of 'em).
• Mandy gets the Promo Pack. I was touched by her sad story, but mostly because she's local and can pick her prize up at the station. :)
• Gutsch gets a LOST travel pillow and a "The Nine" vault bank. Gutsch tried to drive traffic by posting to other sites. We love free publicity. Great effort!
• Britt gets a Grey's Anatomy syringe. Britt really wanted a syringe. Should we be worried?
• Joshzele also gets a LOST travel pillow. Thanks for the nice note.
• Luke wanted a Six Degrees shirt and he gets it, because no one else wants it.
If your name is listed above, send your mailing addresses to the comments field. Use the SAME email address you used when you posted. ADD: "DO NOT POST" to the top of your comment.
I will round up some more freebees to give away. Were those more boats that I saw in the promotions closet??? HMMMM.
I will announce the boat winner this Friday. So there is still a chance to impress me :)
OK, I said in order for me to give away the ultra-cool LOST boat I need 50 reasons from users why they deserve to have the boat. I have 28 responses and less than 24 hours to go.
Call you mom, call your friends, bring just 22 more posts!
(Sorry for all the begging)
Now, for the good news: Season 3 starts tomorrow! I have already read a ton of reviews from the people that were lucky enough to be at the Hawaii screening. I can't wait. We're having a LOST party at a co-workers house.
So is everyone up for this blog converting to a LOST show blog?? It's going to be rough going after the first 6 episodes.
So, what do you think?
Today is Ellen's last day with GuideLive.com.
We hope that she will continue with the blog (nudge)... all four more days.
What's going on the with the game?!?!
By the way, run to your iTunes store now and download the LOST season finale and the "LOST Survival Guide" from the TV Shows section of store (Click on "ABC's Million Hit Low Down"). You have to hurry, once they hit a million downloads, it's all over.
Was nice to meet everyone at the ABC preview tonight!
Hope you guys got some good prizes!!!
I've already lost my Apollo bar!!!!

Ellen's thoughts: "love the wrapper, hate the taste"
Doug's thoughts: "candy bars are better without URL's on them"
As of 1:45 PM (CST) on Monday, August 28, EVERYONE who has RSVP'd (so far) for the ABC FALL SNEAK PEEK in Dallas is verified.
Now here are some rules for attendees (hee hee, sounds so gradeschool):
• You must be 17 years old or older to attend.
• Make sure EACH attendee RSVP's individually.
• Dress is casual, but this is a VIP media event so don't look too dressed-down (don't be a slob, kids!).
• One (non-alcoholic) drink will be provided.
• The Granada kitchen will be open so you can order (purchase) dinner, snacks, more drinks etc.
• The event starts at 7:30 PM so please be there on time. Event staff does not want to seat late parites (it's kind of like going to a movie).
• Gift bags will be handed out at the END of the event. I take this to mean that APOLLO bars will be given out AFTER the presentation.
• Please DO NOT have fun. Just kidding, it should be a LOT of fun.
I don't have all the details about the ABC Fall preview in Dallas, but I will post them as soon as I do. I will also update the RSVP confirmations on Monday.
FYI: the RSVP list is a couple posts down... will try to update over the weekend. Get those RSVP's in!!!!
OK. If you want to attend the ABC Fall Sneak Peek and possibly get your very own APOLLO candy bar: CLICK HERE NOW.
Make sure you read the instructions CAREFULLY!
UPDATE! If you want confimation that your RSVP was approved send in a comment with the words "DO NOT POST", tell me the name you used to RSVP and your blog name and I will update a list on here (using your blog name).
The good news is that I reserved 20 spots for blog people (just in case).
UPDATE #2, Who's In?
Here's who's in... some confirmed RSVP's:
• Doug (#1... WOO HOO!, I rock!)
• Ellen
• Beverly
• QuinceTheCarpenter
• D.L. and G.L. (you know who you are)
• Scully
• Your Mother
• FastenYourSeatBelts
• David from TLEC
• Ms. O' (and Mr. O')
(MAKE SURE YOU SEND ME YOUR "BLOG" NAME, so I can update the list)
Sorry, all. I am in the swamp of swampy workload over here. But I will catch up. Working on it... Thanks for all who are faithfully posting comments -- it's going to help big time in my catch-up effort.
We've been on vacation and wanted you guys to know we are still here. Help us catch up.
Post your updates HERE (click on "Comments", of course)... so where are we now?!?

Thanks for posting! Maybe we'll do another giveaway for comment #2,000.
(Buffy fans will now be singing that song...)
So, I'm thinking, if Rachel really is Persephone, and this game really is going to be in three "acts," it could get interesting. Because first she was talking to us via the Hanso site, but they shut that down, so she had to get a step closer to us with the videos and direct-to-us blogging. So if they shut THAT down at some point, maybe act 3 will be phone calls and more "live" interaction?
That would be cool. Am I crazy?
OK, the Hanso site is shut down, and the game is changing. So I'm starting a new game-tracking file. The old one is completely updated and will still be here for backward reference, but in the interests of not having a huge(r) long file, I'm starting a new one for this new segment of the game.
If you want to catch up to this point, read the "act one" file here.
This will be the new place to get caught up on newer developments. Please check this page before you start posting comments so you're not repeating info that's already known.
So with that... here's what's happening:
We have reached over 100 entires, over 150,000 page views and nearly 1000 comments AND I finally got around to adding some features to the site.
First, and probably coolest, is the addition to the right nav called "Recent Comments." Now you can see the 10 most recent things people have commenting about. Cool, huh?
I also added the right nav to the individual posts.
E-mail me if you have anything else you would like to see added.
COMING SOON: Ellen is updating the "Game so far" page, we will be having new "guest" bloggers and we are planning to reward the 1000th commenter!!
My ongoing laborious meticulous detailed account of the game so far is... (drumroll please) ... UPDATED!
With new pictures and all the developments so far. I think I got everything significant. If there's anything important that I missed, leave a comment.
Reader Brandon had a comment I wanted to bring to everyone's attention. Several people have said they're having trouble getting certain passwords to work on the Hanso site -- notably "the mouth piece" on McIntyre's page. Brandon says:
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I (along with many of the rest of you) was having a few issues getting things to work (Jacob's profile, Hugh's booty-call movie, etc.) I realized that my bookmark was still for http://thehansofoundation.org. (No www.) So I tried the (relatively) newer www.thehansofoundation.org,and boo-yah, everything works now. So again, not sure if it's helpful, but that did it for me (just remember to re-do the whole "breakingstrain" thing again at the newsletter sign up to make sure you are logged in.)
I have been using the www all along, so I can't test this out for myself, but it seems worth a try. Those of you who have been having issues, try it out and let us know if that does the trick.
P.S. -- Doug, are you going to buy those Lymon Nikes, you Nike fanatic you?
If you want to catch up with the game, I've updated the "what's happened so far" file. I also made some notes on the voice mail stuff on 877-HANSORG, so I'm going to try to transcribe those tonight, just for the record.
Anything new on the Hanso site that anyone's noticed?
In order to keep the main page short and sleek we are limiting the approval of comments unless they add something new to the discussion.
We are going to cut back on the comments that have already been covered.
- the Management
PS: (this is not a clue)
I am re-arranging the links to various websites on the right nav.
Are there any site you guys are watching that I haven't already listed?
Let me know and I will add them to the links so this page can be your one-stop "L.E." page.
This is the file that details the first "act" of the Lost Experience game. Coverage stops at the point where the Hanso site is shut down and Rachel gets going. At that point, coverage moves here. Please don't post comments to this entry -- check the "act 2" game so far file, or just go to the main blog page for the latest developments.
If you're new to the game or haven't been following every development, please look this entry and the "act 2" entry over to get caught up before you start posting comments anywhere to make sure you're not repeating info that's already known. Thanks.
Also, if you're new to ARGs (alternate reality games) in general, remember that this game could play out over several months. Don't get impatient trying to find the final answer -- the fun part is gathering up info and slowly piecing it together. We don't know yet what this is all about (besides what we've learned below). Just jump in and play along.
And finally, don't forget that the Lost Experience creators have said that the ARG will have a storyline that does not involve the characters on the show Lost. So I wouldn't spend a lot of energy trying to figure out what this game has to do with plot developments on the show.
I made some changes to the blog:
Comments under each of the main page postings. Now you don't have to click to read the comments.
Reduced the number of postings on the main page. You need to click on the archives to see the older stuff.
Let me know if you like the changes.
