Now We Know
So now we know "The Temple" and the island's "Security System."
In a previous episode, Ben told the French woman, Alex and her boyfriend to go to the "Temple" where they would be safe from the soldiers of fortune that came on the ship.
That was freaky when the French guy's arm came off. Didn't see that one coming.
The redhead confirmed she was previously on the island. She also said a "crazy man" told her never to return or she would die. Does Faraday sound loco to you?
Jack's father is definitely involved...is he Jacob?
We might also know Ben didn't know Eloise is Faraday's mother...
And, we got to see the frozen donkey wheel again. What's not to like about that scene?

I learned that Smokie keeps some and throws some back - dead. Wonder what it sees in the keepers. Those who survive Smokie are changed and apparently not for the better, as Danielle is forced to kill the other Smokie survivors and, in self defense, her own husband.
Makes me wonder who else, most likely among the Others, is a Smokie survivor.
I'll jump ahead. This isn't a spoiler because I don't know squat. I think this is going to end the way it began, with the plane crash and the whole thing starting over again - sortof like The Dark Tower (didn't we see Juliette reading Stephen King?).
Back to what's going on. I think we know why Ben knew everything about everybody on the Oceanic flight. I suspect he's been through it a number of times.
Wonder why it was so important that Locke turn the wheel instead of Ben.
-that Charlotte grew up on the island, but we don't know who her mother and father are.
i wanna see where Desmond fits in all of this...he met Eloise a long time ago..and Faraday told him the rules don't apply to him..that he's special
I liked seeing Rousseau's crewmates go nuts. Very curious how they're going to explain the smoke monster and what all it does, and what goes on on that temple to make people nutso.
Ellen, could their illness be radiation poisoning from something like a leaking bomb?

when this whole time jumping thing started...
what's to keep them from ending the show just like it started...
with all the losties reliving the plane crash...
damn, if they do end it like that...
i'm gonna want my money back..
