WTH?

What's happened to Lost, more specifically what's happened to the writing. Why do the producers feel like they need to dumb it down? "Hey doc, wasn't it weird when we got that phone call about your body washing ashore?"

Lost has such a dedicated audience, dare I say a "cult" following that puts a microscope on every nuance of the show. Yes, we all remember the doc's body washing ashore in a previous episode.

C'mon, there's a better way to write this thing.

I can forgive a lot of things, suspend disbelief and play along...just can't excuse this...is it just me?

I think they were just trying to give us an idea of the time frame. They made reference to that and then he was murdered. Without that bit of information to let us know at what point in time we were in, we would've just assumed that it happened in the correct linear time, but it didn't. Does that makes sense? They showed us that they received the call before he was killed.

Henry: Maybe but it's not the first time they use that gimmick to tell the tale. I like to believe it's poor/cheap writing.
