I was on AOL Instant Messenger the other day and I made a special group of friends called lost characters. I put in all of the characters names from the Lost Experience online game. Even bouncer the dog..haha..and two days ago I saw that "Alvar Hanso" signed on...I thought it was a fake, so I messaged him "are you involved with the lost experience or are you just lucky enough to have attained the name yourself"...it answered me back...with "we have no time, please tell marcus that I'm sorry."...
I asked "alvar hanso" many questions ...and after about 10 questions I realized that it was a BOT...and for those of you who don't know what a BOT is...it's a program designed to Auto-reply questions that are sent to it. In other words "alvar hanso" was giving me the same response to many different questions...
So I looked up a connection to "Alvar Hanso" and the name Marcus.....it took me a long time..but I finally found something...and it's a great read...and it has a direct relation to the Losties splitting up into two parties on the Island.

I read part of the above link and still trying to figure out how it relates to Lost....i was literally lost just trying to read it - I must be too dumb or sober to get it!
Doug note: Almost two years ago, there was an "Alternate Reality Game" or "ARG" that coincided with the end of season #2 of LOST. ABC produced this global game that involved websites, actors, candybars, Sprite, Jeeps, glyph hunting and prank phone calls. It was the reason this blog was started.
The comment above was referring to characters from the game whose storylines wove into the actual show. It looks like ABC might be starting a new ARG to help alleviate the pain of the writers strike. I'm not sure if the link above it legit or not. We had a lot of false leads during the last game... and they were just as confusing.
After reading "The Scribe of Marcus" I started to think about how the Island is split up in two groups now...Maybe the Scribe of Marcus is giving us a clue that one group is the Solarians and the other are Ophidians...The thing that got me thinking this was the power the Ophidians have ("the ability to manipulate people, to ensnare and subjugate them by appealing to their basest instincts in insidious ways.")...sound familiar....sounds like Ben Linus to me......
and then the refrence to Dharma....not the Dharma Initiative, but maybe it's giving us a clue as to who brought about the idea of the Dharma Initiative in the first place.
This theory will make someone say....COME ON!...but just maybe the Mysterious JACOB is Marcus Geist just in the spirit\body sense, and maybe he's the start of a new Metazon..if this was true then the Others are pretty much Prophets or Disciples of Marcus.
Sounds like the creation of a new way of thinking about thigs...restoring Faith in people...like what Jesus was to his followers.
I mean this could be a really cool plot...I'd watch it!.
