Wrap your mind around this!

BuddyTV.com's Lost Easter Eggs from "The Constant" are enough to hurt your brain.

They wonderfully point out the cool things in episode 4.5 such as the references to "Slaughterhouse Five," the importance of The Black Rock, the new Hanso family member (from the auction scene), mentions of Charles Dickens, the overuse of "the numbers" and a theory of who might have opened the door on the ship. Was it THAT guy over there ---->?

The whole business about finding a "constant" is all bunk to me, but I thought the episode was well written and infused enough sci-fi elements to keep me amused. It was like watching a chick-flick and a Twilight Zone episode all at once...did anybody count how many times the phrase "I love you" was said at the end?

Via Wired, Via ABC, Lost executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof reveal these OMG previews:

• The identity of the body in the coffin from Jack's flash-forward will be revealed.
• By the end of the seventh episode all the Oceanic 6 survivors will be revealed, answering the question as to whether Ben and baby Aaron are considered part of the Oceanic 6.
• You won't find out who or what Jacob is until the final two seasons.
• The five new episodes the producers are set to shoot now that the writers strike is over will emphasize the original cast, including Michael, who finally returns.

Also, Jorge Garcia (Hurley) says that episode seven will be the MOST SHOCKING episode yet.

I can't wait!!!

Eggtown and grenade sandwiches

I'm a bit late on my blog entry for episode 4.4 "Eggtown", I've already forgotten some of the items I wanted to talk about.

In this episode, we find out that Kate is probably not pregnant with Sawyer's baby...instead she ends up adopting Aaron (the magical island-born baby) somehow. The immediate thought after the final scene is, "What happens to Claire?". The writers might want us to think that Claire is dead, but I have a feeling that she doesn't die. In the flash forward scenes, I'm guessing she is one of the survivors that are still on the island (I know, it's a stretch).

"Eggtown"... Doug's thoughts

Ok, here's what I'm thinking about "Eggtown" (4.4):

1. The OMG moment: who saw the Aaron revelation coming?! I love these kicks in head at the end of each episode this year.
2. Why was Jack reluctant to see Aaron? Is Aaron Jack's baby half-brother?
3. What's going to happen to the helicopter? Will it fly into a time warp or crash and kill someone?
4. Why did Miles want the money from Ben? Why did he ask for such a precise amount? Where is Ben going to get the money?
5. Now we know who the "he" is that Kate spoke of at the airport meeting with Jack at the end of Season #3.
6. What did the guy yell at Kate when she was entering the courthouse?
7. Why did Jack say there were only 8 survivors of 815? As Kate points out, he's telling a story or lying... right? Who were the other 2?
8. As our mystery friend reported... the book shows up!! James had it!!
9. Will Miles blow up? Will Kate's mom die? Who will "Scooby Doo" Hurley again?

Don't want to ruin it for you, so continue at your own risk....

Lost Executive producer Damon Lindelof promises a season total of 13 episodes.
In late April, Lost moves to 10/9c after Grey's Anatomy.

After seeing Episode 4.3 we know that Sayid is the Oceanic 6's 4th member. We also know that Ben, the mastermind that he is, probably gets off the island more than we've known. Can we also assume that the people on the ship fail at their mission? I think that was a detail that a lot of viewers might have missed...

No explanation necessary.

Henry dropped a HUGE spoiler in this one... but, I edited it out... so it's safe listening.

TV Guide had a good Spoiler, kind of vague but worth posting. Be sure you want to know. It's Kate-centric.

Picture gives away some of tonights storyline so don't click if you don't want to know. You've been warned.

I made the template wider to accommodate the new ABC LOST widget.

It's got exclusive clips, a countdown clock and other cool stuff.

I added it just for YOU. Oh, it's over there on the right nav.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

I'm such a buzz kill. Be sure you want to know before you go any further.
I warned you.

Writers' strike is OVER!

Variety says IT'S OVER!

How will the rest of the season turn out? Will we get more than 8 episodes?

The "Heroes" staff says they won't be back until September. What about LOST?

Only continue reading if you want to spoil it for you and everyone around you.

I loved the first two episodes of Lost this season! They were both well-paced and had me begging for the next bit of mysterious information to chew on. Right when the series made you think there was a logical explanation for everything (getting rid of the sci-fi/supernatural factor), it punches you in the face with a whole new slew of questions.

Last night's episode introduced a few new characters. We learn that Naomi was responsible for getting a team on and off the island in a mission to find Ben (for what?):

1. Miles - Ghostbuster - He has powers to communicate with the dead. I'm assuming he is part of the team because he might be able to get information from the spirits of the island that would lead them to Ben.

ABC finally posted the sneak peeks from NEXT week's show...

ABC's promise of sneak peeks from next week hasn't happened... yet.

So here's a recap of last night's episode "Confirmed Dead."

Guess what... I haven't seen the show yet... so podcast is delayed until Monday.

Very cool!

• ABC has given us two new promotional video clips for the Valentine's show. I can't post them until 10:00PM tonight.

• Is there a full-fledged ARG starting with this season? The FlyOceanicAir.com and Find815.com sites seem to suggest this.

• Two shows in and we've probably got at least 5 new characters (does Naomi revive?)... the new parachuters, the creepy guy from Oceaninc and anyone I'm forgetting.

• In case you missed 'em, there were a few Easter Eggs in last week's episode... BuddyTV.com has them HERE

Scene from Lost: Episode 4.2 It's a spoiler so only continue reading if you really need to know.

What a great start to our new season. I'm hooked all over again.

I was shocked at Charlie's visit to Hurley, when the poor guy is once again hiding out in a mental institution (how sad is it that such a place is where Hurley feels safest?). Yes, we've seen the dead wander around the island, but to see Charlie show up to deliver a message in the real world? It got me.

So what's up with that?

Here's two sneak peeks directly from ABC! The first is called "Not our mission" and the second is called "Charlotte."
