GGGGGGAHHHH!
Wow, that was great...like a action packed mini-movie.
I'm gonna have to sleep on it to collect my thoughts.
I'm really hoping that the future scenes play a big part of season 4.
Update: TheTailSection.com has evidence that Charlie DID NOT die: the song he was working on was playing on Jack's radio when he pulled up to the funeral parlor. HMMM.
As everyone pointed out... it was a Nirvana song! End Update
Actually, now that I think about it, outside of the Tom and the random baddies on the beach and in the "Looking Glass", did any real character REALLY die?
It's the ultimate cliffhanger!

But WHOSE funeral?
Look at the newspaper as Jack looks at it before he goes into the funeral home. Here is what I have so far of NEWSPAPER ARTICLE:

That was a Nirvana song playing while Jack pulled up to the funeral parlor.
Doug note: YOU ARE CORRECT!
That was a Nirvana song playing while Jack pulled up to the funeral parlor.
WOWWW!!! Kudos to the writers...the episodes only seemed to get better and beter after that long break during mid-season.
While watching the broadcast, I was thinking that the song being played on Jack's radio was a Nirvana tune that i had somehow missed, lol. If it is indeed Charlie's song, that was a damn good catch.
I wouldn't have complained if they incorporated the characters in the girl-prison underwater dungeon a bit sooner...their existance was very "out of the blue".
I went back to read Henry's spoilers...and they were spotless. Stop it Henry! hehe.
Lots to ponder about before the next season begins...such a friggin' long wait!
I think the song playing on the radio when Jack was driving up to the funeral parlour was a Nirvana tune??
Perhaps it was a Nirvana /Charlie song, but would they not be playing it. As the parachuting woman told Charlie, after they found the plane and all of them dead, his music shot to the top as a "Best of" kind of thing?
I believe that Jack was using a KRZR phone while trying to dial Kate all those times. Anachronism?
Scentless Apprentice is the Nirvana song.
