August 28, 2006

If you've submitted and RSVP, you're in! And now some rules...

As of 1:45 PM (CST) on Monday, August 28, EVERYONE who has RSVP'd (so far) for the ABC FALL SNEAK PEEK in Dallas is verified.

Now here are some rules for attendees (hee hee, sounds so gradeschool):

• You must be 17 years old or older to attend.
• Make sure EACH attendee RSVP's individually.
• Dress is casual, but this is a VIP media event so don't look too dressed-down (don't be a slob, kids!).
• One (non-alcoholic) drink will be provided.
• The Granada kitchen will be open so you can order (purchase) dinner, snacks, more drinks etc.
• The event starts at 7:30 PM so please be there on time. Event staff does not want to seat late parites (it's kind of like going to a movie).
• Gift bags will be handed out at the END of the event. I take this to mean that APOLLO bars will be given out AFTER the presentation.
• Please DO NOT have fun. Just kidding, it should be a LOT of fun.

So do you think we should advise your other attendee's that they shouldn't eat the chocolate, hehe

Where were we supposed to RSVP? I have been on the granada's site everyday since the event was confirmed on apollocandy.com

DOUG NOTE: HERE!

You should have been reading our blog :)

If you RSVP'd over the weekend will you get something confirming that you are going? I just want to make sure, I did RSVP, but I didn't receive any type of confirmation.

DOUG NOTE: Like I said before, I don't know of a confimation email... if you went through the process then you are confirmed.

Doug, Thanks for your patience with all the questions about the ABC event in Dallas.

I'm still feeling a bit uncertain about what time we should plan to arrive at the Granada (when the doors open to the air conditioning), where to park, and what is the procedure for getting the reserved tickets or "checking in." Will we need to go to a "Will Call" window, or will there just be a reservations checklist?

Sorry to be so careful, but I hate to not ask and end up with confusion, inconvenience, or missing out.

Thanks!

I RSVP'd but I'm in Florida. Okay if my mother comes in my place?

DOUG NOTE: Clif, your mom will need to RSVP or you will need to RSVP for her... they might have ID checks.

Is it really that easy? The raffle thing was untrue?
