New ROT letter and password
Alison and Brandon posted to say there's a new letter from Wally Bole. I'm irritated that I'm not getting these even though I've put my e-mail address in approximately one thousand times at the ROT site. ANYway, here's the letter text:
Thank you for supporting the Retrievers of Truth. You unwavering loyalty and patronage are what keep me working so hard to get the truth out there about the Labrador. Things are going very well for the organization and for myself. I would not be speaking to you if it were not for your belief.
Today I would like to talk to you about something that has effected [sic] us all at one time or another - change. Change is the nature of existence. Do you think the now mighty and mentally superior Labrador retriever was always such a symbol of canine superiority? Definitely not.
I myself have experienced change in my life. An awakening or rebirth of sorts. And from that change came personal growth. A flowering, if you will. When a young yellow is but a pup he hasn't the slightest inkling of the changes he will endure. He goes though life as a pet only to later become the true master.
I can't tell you how to overcome change but I can tell you to look to the future. Aim for the stars. Pick a point in your mind that you want to reach and allow yourself to change - to adapt and be ready for anything that might come your way.
Like a wise old yellow once told me, "If I didn't change my mind, I'd be thinking the same things every single day."

And the old "polar bear" password for the message boards isn't working. At least one person has sent us a comment with the new password, but I haven't approved it yet, as it's no fun to just get the answer. WHY is it the new password, people? How was it figured out? Let us know.
Update: OK, I'm getting comments (that I'm not approving b/c they're repetitive) giving me the password. No explanation. So, for those of you who just want the password without explanation, scroll over this white text to see it:

Now, anyone have an explanation? I don't have time today to research this, but I'm really interested to know how this was found. Thanks.

Having looked at the new password, I can see where it was got from. If you view source on ROT there is a line with Hidden and then a lot of stuff after it. If you take the stuff after it and change it using a base64 converter, out pops the password in the converted text.
I'd actually converted it earlier but didnt take any notice of what showed up, as I disn't think it was password material, obvioulsy I was wrong.

you can click on the word 'lost' at the top which takes you to the jeep 'compass'
after that i'm stuck so far
ok clicking on the security features “crush zone” hotspot on the grill of the car, and then viewing the demo
Rachel has updated her Stop hanso site. Click on pic takes you to LYCGY site. New password rblake, honourbar. New folder called my docs. Conatins eerie movie and link to Jeep page witch clickable link on the word LOST.

Ok got the next step. After clicking on Lost on frontpage of Jeep site, it takes you to pic of a Jeep and lists various features on the left. Click on saftey/security, then on the front of the jeep crush zones. Bingo, new video.
OOps typo, meant to say you get the new video when you view demo in crush zones. SORRY!
There is a new posting on rachel's site linking you to the letyourcompassguideyou.com that links you to Jeep. There is an error on the page right now or maybe Im missing something.. anyone else see something?

the ROT password changed again. if you look for the hidden statement in the source code and do the base64 conversion you get
