ROT update - clues to get clues

well I must say that site gets tiring after a while. But the only thing I saw was that under "music" there is a billboard that is faded, and since my vision is 20/400 I cant make much out. I think there is a phone # to call. This could also be absolutely nothing. I hop not. Happy hunting!

I thought it would be nice to give you a rundown on everything about the Vik Institute Fire Article that has popped up.
I shall aptly begin at the beginning.

I came upon a post from GidgetGirl on the Rachel Blake blog that went like this:

A clipping from a newspaper that clearly reveals the recent fire mentioned in the Rachel video was in fact at the Vik Institute.

Now, digging done on the names mentioned.

Janos Backh - "Backh" loosely relates to a form of Algebraic mathematics while being rather Indian. "Janos" is also confirmed to be a very Korean name.

Orhan Hikmet Ran - Nazim "Hikmet Ran" was a famous Turkish poet.

On Wikipedia we find that Nazim Hikmet Ran was a Turkish poet influenced by the Soviets. -Orhan- script(or Orkhan) is linked to from there, and that is the earliest known Turkish language. It is also called "runiform" by some and is concidered one of the first written languages.

Put those two wikipedia articles together and you get "Orhan Hikmet Ran".

Vikrem Sahani - The name is best linked to simply being Indian. And there is a famous poet connection.

Older, bright Asian men, perhaps mathematicians or writers. Perhaps simply scholars.

I believe the emphasis is on them being rather intelligent, as hinted at by being around the renowned mathematician Vigi Benoffski.

Now, why would they kill that man but only severely hurt the others and draw attention to their Vik Institute -and- alarm Mittlewerk and everyone in Hanso enough to high tail it to Iceland?

It sounds like it was not a Hanso plan and probably not an accident of some sort.

Maybe patients fighting back fire with fire. For it to worry them so much, it really must be quite a development.

Well, Ellen, I think that it's only the first of a string of words that will form an entire clue. Caberet is a musical- and if you look into teh Verizon website at richerdeeperbroader.com, you'll see that they are advertising a new music service starting in July. So.... it may lead to new clues, but it will also allow for more advertising of Verizon, in my opinion. And I'm not sure if that's something I'm going to be exceptionally happy with.

On another note, Rachel Blake has another blog note posted with reference to http://vikarticle.blogspot.com/. Seems like Gidgetgirl is willing to help out--maybe Gidgetgirl is Persephone?

The number on the billboard on "RDB" appears to be 718 477 1400. I googled it and came up with Economic Development Corp, 900 South State Ave, Suite 402 Staten Island NY.
Also if you use it to see if Verizon is available in your area. It confirms yes, and its a business number.

i've been enjoying all the retconning that goes on. first they cover up the early video release mistake, now the thing with the maps. perhaps they didnt expect us to find the canada location so soon, so now we get this "wow canada, gee you found it but there is another map of an island near the equator, but i am not doubting you guys"

Has anyone else noticed that on sublymonal/_hidden in the 48 folder, the date on the untitled 2 has changed to today, 27/6. As far as I can see it reads the same, does someone have a copy to double check.

Gary Troup's new video is up on myspace.com! It's the 7th of 9. Apparently, some people are already working on getting the video on youtube. I'll let you know when I hear something!

The ROT site has been updated again. I think that the clue may be GOOD REASON.. but I'm still checking it out. I may be wrong though so....

in the pursue dreams page of richerdeeperbroader - it links to http://www.realizeambition.com/ - another verizon site - this site features a video- which contains a shot of a pizza house in which, if you pause the video two numbers can clearly be seen - now it might just be me - but they look as thought they might have been added on- the focus on them is slightly sharper than the rest of the picture - anyway- here they are.. 849 - 5588 and 849 - 0716
what area are these for? i have no idea - get back to me - and try ringing them
