Peter Thompson's letters
Alert readers Susan and Paul point out a stream of letters flashing across Peter Thompson's bio page on the Hanso site. Anyone got a read on it?
Update: Doug says he sees "SURVIVOR GUILT." Confirmation, anyone? Where can we use this, ya think?

Ok this might be a dumb question, but when I typed in "Survivor Guilt" nothing happened except the little circle loading icon kept spinning. What am I doing wrong?
Interesting stuff. So, Persephone works for Hanso. Wonder if she's Liddy Wales.
How long of a wait to get to the interesting stuff? All I get is the little circle timer letting me know something is loading, but it never stops. The letters just continue to get faster on Thompson's picture!
Does anyone else see the guy in the labcoat behind the three images? Any idea who it is?
To get to the right page, "survivor guilt" has to be all lowercase.

The image used, as indicated by someone who decompiled the Flash, clearly is the coat of Dr. Marvin Candle, but his body is removed, leaving just the coat.
Up to you whether this means it's meant to be Candle, or if they simply used his coat.

If you pay close attention you can sort of see the outline of a face in the 3rd image.
The persephone site numbers changed.
Now there's only a 2 there. What does that mean?
When you run "2" through Code64 you get Ag, which is the chemical element silver. Possible password?
I noticed the word "don't" flashed by on the tobacco page. Is there a way to decompile the flash and see if there are any other subliminal -type images?
Found out what the 2 means on the new persephone page. If you type hole2.thehansofoundaton, you will see an interesting image

How did you know to type "hole2" in the web address?
This may be a little off topic, but I was looking at the user directories within http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/usr/ and also looking at the Bios page on http://www.thehansofoundation.org/ and noticed hat there were accounts listed for all of the Executives and directors EXCEPT for Jacob Vanderfield. He has no usr account. This can't be by accident... Also, it occurred to me that the user accounts listed here might very well be the user accounts used to log into the BODirector's bios on the hanso site, but the password for this is still a mystery...
When I downloaded the gif from hole2, the name was q9als2002. The result encoded into base64 is CTLHBHMYMDAY. maybe an anagram for HTMLDB plus some combo of remaining: CHYMY? Don't know much about this html coding stuff (according to internet definition, it's an oracle 10 thing) but maybe someone else does?
Using the www.paulschou.com/tools/xlate site, I decided to see what would happen if I took the DEC/CHAR numbers that resulted from inputting the q9als2002 ( which are 113 57 97 108 115 50 48 48 50) in the text box. I got: MTEzIDU3IDk3IDEwOCAxMTUgNTAgNDggNDggNTA
I took away the lower-case letters and the numbers and unscrambled them and got:
MUTANT ID DECODED IN MUTANT DNA
or maybe this makes more sense:
ENCODED MUTANT DNA ID MUTANT ID
Maybe the lower-case/numbers are the ID?

You type it below McIntyre's picture - you won't see anything but a cursor when you click there. And after you type the words you just hit enter. But you have to be "signed in" to Persephone first (Newsletter Sign-up, I believe).
In addition to Candle's coat & "Don't Believe His Lies" it looks like there are other images cut into the views of the power plant, tobacco fields, etc - a la Fight Club - but they're too quick to see. Has anyone tried to break these down frame by frame? I don't know how to do it, otherwise I'd try it myself.
