If stuff isn't working for you...
Reader Brandon had a comment I wanted to bring to everyone's attention. Several people have said they're having trouble getting certain passwords to work on the Hanso site -- notably "the mouth piece" on McIntyre's page. Brandon says:
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I (along with many of the rest of you) was having a few issues getting things to work (Jacob's profile, Hugh's booty-call movie, etc.) I realized that my bookmark was still for http://thehansofoundation.org. (No www.) So I tried the (relatively) newer www.thehansofoundation.org,and boo-yah, everything works now. So again, not sure if it's helpful, but that did it for me (just remember to re-do the whole "breakingstrain" thing again at the newsletter sign up to make sure you are logged in.)
I have been using the www all along, so I can't test this out for myself, but it seems worth a try. Those of you who have been having issues, try it out and let us know if that does the trick.
P.S. -- Doug, are you going to buy those Lymon Nikes, you Nike fanatic you?
Movable Type 4.1

I dont know if anyone has noticed, but I think the passwords are case sensitive. I was using The Mouth Piece - didnt work. Tried the mouth piece and BAM! just a thought

Not goin' for the Nikes, they aren't retro enough.
Hi there, I am new to the message board. I have a theory that Persephone is actually the character introduced in the season finale, Penelope (Widmore's daughter, Desmond's lover). Thoughts?
The date of the next podcast has changed from 5/26 to 6/01. I guess DJ Dan is on vacation...
Mandy the 5/26 Podcast is the one from Sublymonal. After hearing about frozen heads and EMP weapons it will be interesting to see what's on the 6/01 edition.
thehansofoundation.org wasn't working for me... i even contacted "Speaker" at www.inside thexperience.com to see if he had any ideas. (He didn't mention the www version). Then I tried the "www" version, logged into the newletter, and everything is hunky dory again!
Rachel, I'm starting to think this may be true. Consider her name: Penelope.
Penelope was the daughter of Icarius and a first cousin of Helen of Troy. She was the wife of Odysseus and was famous for her cleverness and for her faithfulness to her husband.
When Odysseus failed to return from the Trojan War (he was delayed for ten years on his way home), Penelope was beset by suitors who wanted her to remarry. In order to delay them, she insisted that she could not remarry until she had finished weaving a shroud for Odysseus' father, Laertes. She worked each day at her loom, and then unravelled the cloth each night. After three years of successful delay, one of her servants revealed her deception, and the impatient suitors angrily demanded that she choose one of them for her husband immediately. At the prompting of Athene, Penelope said that she would marry the man who could string Odysseus' bow and shoot an arrow through twelve axes. By this time, Odysseus himself had secretly returned, disguised as a beggar; he passed the test of the bow, and then proceeded to slaughter the suitors who had tormented his wife.
Doesn't this sound a bit like Desmond's Penny? I sure think it does-she never gave up on her love for him nor stopped believing in him. She also seems determined to move heaven and earth to find him no matter the cost or the length of time it will take to find him.
Maybe she's knows about her Daddy's business dealings-even the secret dealings with the Hanso Foundation. Perhaps she took on the job working with Hanso so she could acquire access to sensitive information as to what they are really doing and how it may deal with the disappearance of her lover.
What do you think?
I guess I missed the sublymonal last update.. I wanted to see those code things. Now its just a little sprite flashing thing. Or maybe, I can't find where you put the codes in.
Has anyone taken the time to slow down and check out the new Sprite commercials? There were two on last night during the Suns/Mavs game that start with the same can as the website and at the bottom says DVR ready or something like that. Then has loading the whole time across the bottom of the commercial. If you DVR scene by scene through it you get the codes in interesting places---like on a lounging frog and the background of the funky light show. Just wanted to know what else people discovered.
Paik-heavy admitted to being a fake site the other day. You can read their entry on the website.
Hi There

while the Persephone/Penny connection is attractive, everything I've read since I started following this game has said that the Lost Experience ARG exists parallel to the show and the lines between the two don't cross. Can anyone confirm/deny this point please?
Think of it this way: Not everybody is playing the ARG or even knows it is going on, for that matter. They couldn't possibly have information that was important to the show come out in the game, otherwise how would they get that info. to the non-players?
Basically, the game adds flavor to the show and gives us something to do while waiting for new episodes. Plus, it provides a new source of revenue through the ads.
Scott, the official announcement for this ARG is quoted here (whic I have edited to get right to the questions you have):
"No further information for "Lost Experience" is being released, and network executives say future clues could pop up in any part of the world and on any medium. Fans from different countries will have to reach out to each other and trade information if they want to start sleuthing."
"The game reaches back into 'Lost' history and looks forward to future episodes," said Mike Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC Entertainment."
"You don't need to be one of those hard-core fans who've memorized every episode, he said. "We wanted to make it so that if you watched 'Lost' from the beginning or if you've never watched the show before you can get into this."
"The game is specifically designed in a manner that is not dependent on information from season one or season two."
Hope this helps!
